you should not necessarily build all of one path unless a game calls for it, build items as needed as abrams is one of the most difficult to build heroes in the game.

do your best to win lane, abrams lane is kind of weird but hes a mostly oppressive hero that can do massive burst damage and easily win lanes
you want to be invading enemy camps at 6 minutes with your 1 and cold front with melees
Melee charge and lifestrike let you do this mostly without fear.b
